I discovered today that author Cory Doctorow has published his new novel “Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town” in the virtual world, Second Life. Copies of the book are entirely free. What this means is that you don’t have to read Doctorow’s novel in the real world — you can log on and let an avatar do the reading for you.
Unfortunately, the format is somewhat larger than a pocket book.
