Eight years in Second Life… and counting…

Eight years ago, I logged in as Cubey Terra for the first time. It was my second time around. My first account, Tillman Terra, lasted only a few days before I deleted it out of fear that I was spending too much time in Second Life.

Tillman Terra (Sept. 2003): The account that preceded Cubey Terra

In the past, I’ve engaged in retrospectives:

And a little flight of fiction:

This time I’m going to just say that, although I recently sold Abbotts Aerodrome, I’m not dead and gone yet. I’ll be here playing with aircraft, gadgets, and crap in SL until Linden Lab turns out the lights.

Thanks for all the memories, Second Lifers. Now let’s go make more.

  1. Abbots!!! i had several of your things (if memory serves me right) when i was inSL. i started at the very end of 2006 but have not beein inSL since March 2010 – i am only in OpenSim now with our own server running a private grid

SL was really something in 2006-2007 and i can’t even imagine the changes you have seen

good luck in your endeavors =)

  2. Better late than never, but wishing you a very happy rezday and many more to come. Thanks for years of great fun visiting the Aerodome and lots of great blog posts along the way, too. :)
